In 2023, Şükrü was working with a teenage girl named İrem, who suffered from severe exam anxiety at school. Her family had tried multiple therapies over the years, yet nothing seemed to help. During a single mental coaching session with Şükrü, everything shifted—her anxiety dissolved, and for the first time, she felt calm and in control. Stunned by the result, her parents returned with their son Kerem, who struggled with his own challenges. Once again, one session was enough to create a meaningful change. This time, their curiosity grew even stronger. How could such transformations happen so quickly?
Şükrü explained how NLP allows people to reshape thoughts, behaviors, and emotions with remarkable speed. As he spoke, the father, Mr. Doğal, a computer science expert, immediately saw something larger: these methods shouldn’t stay limited to one-on-one sessions. They could reach millions.
Their conversations became longer, deeper, more visionary. They explored the idea of bringing Şükrü’s unique coaching protocols into a digital form—something accessible, intelligent, and personalized. Then came the spark:

It was an instant “eureka” moment. Two different worlds—NLP and computer science—clicked into place. From that day on, they committed to building a new kind of mental wellness system, one that blends human insight with advanced technology.

"Year 2005. When my daughter Maya was two, we were having dinner together. She loved helping us set the table. That evening, she carefully placed an extra plate, spoon, and fork. My wife and I exchanged a puzzled look—there were only three of us, and we weren’t expecting guests.
We gently asked her, “Maya, who is this extra plate for?”
She answered with complete innocence: “It’s for Mumi.”
We smiled and asked, “And who is Mumi?”
“She’s my friend,” she said, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Of course, we played along, but like all young parents, we were also a bit concerned. We mentioned it to her pediatrician, who reassured us that it’s perfectly normal for an only child to create an imaginary friend. “Don’t worry,” he said. “It will pass." And it did—but only after Mumi stayed with us for a whole year. A tiny invisible guest at our dinner table, our car rides, our bedtime routines.
Years later, when we began building our AI coaching project, we needed a code name. Almost without thinking, we chose “Mumi.” It felt familiar, warm, and somehow… right. As the project grew, the name stayed. Everyone loved it. Eventually, it became more than a code name—it became the soul of the product.
So today, Mumi carries the name of Maya’s invisible friend. A reminder that imagination can become reality, and that something small and sweet from a child’s world can grow into something that helps millions."
Şükrü Terzi
Born in the charming town of Köyceğiz, Turkey, Şükrü Terzi spent nearly twenty-five years in the advertising and design industry. After studying and working in the United States, he created campaigns and design projects for various international brands across different countries.
In 2012, while running his own creative agency, he began a personal-development journey shaped by astrology, philosophy, and coaching. His curiosity first led him to ancient healing practices, shamanic circles, and long meditative retreats such as Vipassana. He later completed year-long Wisdom School trainings taught by Işık Yazan, studying Eastern philosophy and belief systems including Taoism, Buddhism, Zen, and Sufism. Inspired by masters such as Alan Watts, Sri Aurobindo, Osho, Deepak Chopra, D.T. Suzuki, Stefano D’Anna, Eckhart Tolle, and Lao Tzu, he practiced Internal Yoga and meditation. He also attended Zen meditation sessions at the Zen Center of New York City – Fire Lotus Temple.
Soon after, he met two influential teachers who introduced him deeply to NLP: Philip Holt and Ralph Watson. Through their programs, he completed NLP Practitioner, NLP Master, and NLP Master Trainer trainings. He earned certifications approved by Richard Bandler and granted by The Society of NLP, the European Community of NLP, and the Association for Professional Coaching.
To expand his new career, he joined NLP Grup as an NLP Master, practicing one-on-one coaching sessions, delivering seminars to corporate clients, and developing fast-language-learning programs for students. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, he founded his own practice and continued offering individual coaching sessions online, providing mental and emotional support to clients across the world while teaching large-scale online NLP trainings. Having conducted more than 5,000 individual sessions, Şükrü Terzi remains passionately committed to NLP. He continues to offer online and in-person NLP coaching, trainings, seminars, and workshops across Turkey, Europe, and the United States as a certified member of The Society of NLP, the European Community of NLP, and the Association for Professional Coaching.
Şükrü has now embarked on a new journey with Mumi. Together with his team, he has been training Mumi for two years, teaching it everything he knows. Mumi has become the master apprentice he always dreamed of. His next mission is to help millions—if not billions—around the world through Mumi. Become a better version of themselves.
Born in Istanbul in 1970, he graduated from Yıldız Technical University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1991. Between 1993 and 2015, he held mid- and senior-level management roles across multiple countries, working in the construction, oil, automotive, and defense/military-project sectors. During this period, he served at ENKA, Chevron, Isuzu, and Otokar, taking responsibility for key functions including production, production planning, information systems, and procurement.
In 2015, he became one of the founding partners of Innomel Engineering Industry and Trade Ltd. In 2017, he acquired all company shares and became Innomel’s sole managing partner.
At Innomel, he organized and led the company’s representation activities for defense-industry solutions and high-technology products. In 2018, he sponsored DeepCon’18—Turkey’s first and most widely attended artificial intelligence conference of its kind—hosted in Ankara by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), through his company Innomel. Building on the knowledge and experience gained there, he began developing projects in the field of AI and went on to participate as a speaker and trainer at events organized by various universities and institutions.
In December 2024, he joined the founding team of Mumi Co., where he continues to serve as a Partner as well as CTO and CAIO.
Emre Osma was born in 1972 in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, where he continues to reside today. Over nearly three decades, he has played significant roles in software development, production processes, and technology leadership within major corporate companies in Turkey. The first ten years of his career were shaped by an intensely technical period focused on low-level programming. During this time, he gained deep expertise in C and C++, working in CAD programming, system programming, and embedded software development, and contributed to critical projects involving secure printing systems, payment systems, and the software that powers them.
Throughout his professional journey, he has not only built technology but also managed large-scale projects and led the design and optimization of production processes. His analytical mindset lies at the core of his work philosophy, enabling him to break down and solve complex technical challenges—a strength that has made him a key contributor in many initiatives.
Joining the Mumi project in December 2024 marked one of the most significant turning points in his career. As a co-founder of Mumi Co., he is part of the core team shaping the company’s future. Within Mumi, he plays an active role in software infrastructure development as well as process design and optimization. His work supports Mumi in building a strong artificial intelligence foundation while developing a scalable, sustainable, and user-centric product.
He views technology as a tool to enhance and simplify human life. With Mumi, he aims to improve the daily lives of millions and help create a globally recognized technology brand. This vision brings together his engineering background and production-oriented mindset to contribute meaningfully to the digital world of the future.
Outside of work, sailing is one of Emre Osma’s greatest passions—a pursuit that reflects the focus, discipline, and calm determination that also define his professional approach.
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Cem Topuz has spent more than twenty-five years in the world of software engineering, industrial automation, and network systems. After completing both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus, he began designing custom software and infrastructure solutions for companies in manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce across several countries. Over the years, he has developed ERP tools, warehouse management systems, e-commerce integrations, and industrial measurement software for a wide range of clients.
In the early stages of his career, Cem focused heavily on network and systems administration, building LAN/WAN architectures and maintaining complex server environments. At the same time, he was writing software for Rockwell, Vickers, and Brinell hardness tester machines, integrating USB microscopes and improving data accuracy on factory floors. This blend of hands-on engineering and software development shaped his problem-solving style: precise, practical, and always focused on real-world results.
As technology evolved, so did Cem’s interests. He gradually shifted his focus from purely infrastructure and desktop applications to modern platforms such as web, mobile, and cloud-connected systems. He founded and ran his own software practice, TobiSoft, where he designed ERP add-ons, e-commerce back-ends, PDF automation pipelines, and integration layers connecting Shopify and PrestaShop to Netsis and Nebim ERP systems. At the same time, he continued to work as a consultant and software manager for international companies, especially in Romania and Turkey, supporting production, inventory, and warehouse processes end-to-end.
Cem is a lifelong learner who moves easily between legacy systems and cutting-edge tools. He is fluent in languages such as C#, Python, Flutter & Dart, SQL, and JavaScript, and he enjoys transforming complex manual workflows into elegant, automated solutions. In recent years, he has become especially interested in AI-driven applications, intelligent assistants, and voice-based interfaces—areas where his engineering discipline and curiosity naturally come together. Cem has now embarked on a new journey with Mumi. Together with his team, he has been training this AI-powered companion with everything he has learned from decades of software development, systems design, and human-centered thinking. Mumi is becoming the digital apprentice he always imagined—capable of supporting people emotionally while also handling practical tasks. Cem’s next mission is to reach millions of people through Mumi, using technology not only to solve problems, but also to bring a sense of understanding, ease, and support into everyday life.
Born on December 4, 1996, in Istanbul, Sena Aydın is a computer engineer, software designer, and multidisciplinary artist who brings together technology, aesthetics, and emotional expression.
She graduated from Trakya University with a degree in Computer Engineering and, from the early stages of her career, chose to position herself at the intersection of software development and design. Having been interested in design since childhood, Sena further strengthened her technical foundation by completing a six-month Web and Mobile Software Specialization program at Bahçeşehir University between 2018 and 2019.
Over the years, she has built extensive hands-on experience in frontend development and software design. She worked for two years at the startup Biçözüm as a Frontend Developer and Software Designer, followed by four years at BilgeAdam Teknoloji, where she worked as an outsourced Frontend Developer and Software Designer for Trendyol. During this period, she contributed to large-scale, user-focused digital products while deepening her perspective on detail, usability, and visual coherence.
Since June 2025, Sena has been part of Mumi’s development journey, where she works as a Software Designer. At Mumi, she contributes to building a human-centered digital experience by combining her engineering background with a strong aesthetic sensibility. She specializes in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, and is highly proficient in Figma, where she designs intuitive, elegant, and emotionally resonant interfaces.
Alongside her career in technology, Sena Aydın has a deep and long-standing relationship with music. As a multidisciplinary artist, she expresses herself through songwriting, music production, and sound design. In 2024, she completed professional training in Music Production and Sound Design at Nişantaşı University’s Acun Medya Academy. She continues to release her music across all digital platforms and has gained recognition by being featured on major playlists on platforms such as Spotify.
Her artistic background directly informs her approach to design and software; emotional awareness, rhythm, balance, and storytelling are central elements in how she crafts digital experiences. Whether through code, visuals, or sound, she aims to design spaces that feel both functional and alive.
At Mumi, she brings together her technical expertise, creative intuition, and passion for aesthetics to help shape an AI-powered companion that feels warm, supportive, and deeply human.
Born in Samsun in 1997, Ebru developed an early interest in the power of communication, the impact of language, and the rapidly changing rhythm of the digital world. This curiosity led her to study Media and Communication at Ondokuz Mayıs University. Throughout her university years, she sought to complement academic theory with hands on experience, taking her first professional step with a digital media internship at a media agency.
After completing her internship, she worked as a news editor for a Samsun based WordPress digital news platform. This experience allowed her to gain a deep understanding of both content production and the technical and operational aspects of digital publishing.
In the following years, she worked freelance in social media management, content editing, and digital design, collaborating with various brands and individuals. Working across different sectors helped her develop versatile skills in content strategy, visual identity design, and end to end social media management. This long term freelance period also contributed to shaping her unique work discipline and strengthening her creative vision.
After her freelance career, she joined the management team of an arts center as a Senior Program Coordinator, where she further advanced her skills in project management, organizational planning, team coordination, and process design.
In 2024, she joined the Mumi team. Today, as Digital Content Manager, she oversees in-app content, brand language, content strategy, copywriting, and social media management processes. For her, contributing to Mumi’s growth, development, and its ability to reach wider audiences is more than just a professional responsibility; it is a meaningful journey where creativity, technology, and human centered communication converge.
Born in Turkey in 1995, Bircan Köycü studied Bioengineering at Yıldız Technical University (2014–2019) and began working in the tech industry in 2016.
In 2017–2018, he was selected for a fully funded entrepreneurship program run in partnership with Zorlu Holding and MEF University. The program strengthened his foundation in building and scaling products, and helped him turn what he learned into real-world product and growth execution.
From 2019 to 2025, Bircan worked on 30+ projects across tourism, health tourism, psychology, education, gaming, and emerging technology. Over time, he specialized in an end-to-end approach that brings product and go-to-market together. He builds growth systems that connect user insight, product experience, and go-to-market execution into a repeatable operating rhythm.
In 2025, Bircan joined Mumi as Growth & GTM Lead. He leads growth strategy and go-to-market execution while working closely with product, design, and engineering. His goal is to make Mumi a mental health experience that feels trustworthy, safe, and easy to start. He prioritizes responsible growth, clear communication, and user dignity—especially when people feel overwhelmed or alone. To Bircan, the most meaningful growth is helping more people feel lighter, regain their joy, and move closer to their best selves. He works with long-term focus and full commitment so Mumi can deliver the highest possible benefit.
